For candidates
Your rights in a Capifiq integrity check.
If you're interviewing at a company that uses Capifiq, you deserve to know exactly what that means. Capifiq is built around disclosed, consented checks — nothing hidden, nothing decided by software alone. This page explains what you're told, what is collected, the rights you have over your data, and how to raise a concern.
Before your interview
You're told in advance. Always.
Capifiq does not run on anyone who hasn't been clearly informed. Employers are required to notify you before your interview, and the setup is something you complete yourself.
Advance notice
The platform is built to send notice ahead of your session, so an integrity check is never a surprise. Employers are required to inform you before the interview.
You set it up yourself
You voluntarily complete a short setup and environment check before anything runs. Nothing is installed on your device without your knowledge and consent.
Session-only
Any companion agent is present only for the scheduled interview and is guided off your machine afterward. It never locks down or restricts your computer.
Need an accommodation? If a disability makes the standard setup difficult, you are entitled to a reasonable accommodation. Ask the employer, or contact legal@capifiq.ai.
During your interview
What is collected — and what isn't.
A Capifiq check is scoped to the interview. It is an integrity check for that session, not ongoing surveillance of you or your device.
Scoped to the session
- Signals from the scheduled interview session only.
- An account of the interview, which may be recorded and transcribed.
- Findings surfaced as sealed, timestamped evidence for a person to review.
Not what you might fear
- Nothing runs before the interview starts or after it ends.
- No persistent background monitoring of your machine.
- No control, lockdown, or restriction of your computer.
- No automatic accusation — a human always reviews.
Your data
The rights you have over your data.
You can exercise these rights regardless of the hiring outcome. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
Access
Request a copy of the personal data held about you.
Correction
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
Portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@capifiq.ai with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We verify your identity and respond within 30 days.
How findings are used
A person reviews. Software never decides.
Capifiq surfaces evidence. It does not make hiring decisions, and it is never the sole basis for one.
Reviewed by a human
Findings are reviewed by a qualified person on the hiring side before any consequential decision is made.
Never the sole basis
An integrity finding is one input in a broader assessment, not a standalone determinative factor.
No score attached to you
Capifiq does not grade or rank you. It surfaces observations and evidence, tied to moments in the interview.
If something feels wrong
How to raise a concern or dispute a finding.
If you believe an integrity check was conducted improperly, without the required disclosure, or that a finding is mistaken, you can tell us directly.
Contact Capifiq
Email legal@capifiq.ai. Include the nature of your concern, any identifying details, and your contact information if you'd like follow-up. Candidate complaints are treated with priority and handled confidentially to the extent permitted by law.
Contact the employer
The company you interviewed with owns the hiring decision and any adverse-action process. You can raise a concern with them directly as well; Capifiq requires them to handle findings responsibly and to follow applicable law.
